Texas Cont.- Six Flags

Day 3-We went to Six Flags. I wasn't feeling really well so I just hung out with the kiddos and went on a few kiddy rides. We had a wonderful time!

Dear Texas.. it's snowing here. We miss you

Last week we got to visit Wade's brother Mike's Family in Texas. It was so much fun! I am going to have several posts from this trip so here we go!
Day 1: We arrived late on Wednesday and then slept.
Day 2: Attempt to go on a day trip to Six flags in San Antonio. We bought our tickets for Six flags, Rented a mini van and headed on our 2 hour trek to San Antonio. We arrived at Six Flags only to find that they were not open on Thursdays. Maybe we should have checked before hand... So we decided to stay awhile (overnight) and go to the park on Friday. So we headed out to the distribution center to get some G's and see the Temple.

This look (annoyed and hands over ears) was a frequent look on miss Paige's sweet face. It still makes me laugh how scared of sounds she was.

This is us in front of the San Antonio Temple. It was so beautiful. I am sad we didn't get to go in.

Next we were off to the River walk. It is AMAZING. If you have never been there you should. It was really fun. And the boat rides were awesome.

Then we were off to the Alamo. Sadly we didn't really get to spend too much time there because they were closing. But it was fun to stand where such a huge part of history happened.

For now that's it.. I am really tired and I want to go read the cool new book I picked up called "The Looking Glass Wars". Plenty more to come =)
